30 Days of Halloween Horror Nights: What’s Your All-Time Favorite Clown/Circus-Themed House or Scarezone?
This question is rather timely, as 2014 brings us clown-based houses in 3 of the 4 Halloween Horror Nights events around the world. Orlando’s HHN 24 will feature the evil-clown factory of “Giggles & Gore, Inc.”, Hollywood will introduce the ice-cream crazed clown, Sweet Licks, in “Clowns 3D: Music by Slash,” and lastly, Singapore will revive everyone’s favorite deceased mirthmaker, Jack the Clown, in “Jack’s 3Dementia.”
As far as our countdown goes, “Jack’s Funhouse in Clown-O-Vision” is my favorite circus or clown-themed house. Take a cheery-and-colorful-yet-menacing facade, fill it full of the most terrifying clowns, weave it through with unsettling calliope music and top with a dollop of Jack the Clown and you’ve got this house. Oh, and did I mention that it was even more disorienting when seen through 3D glasses?
