USA Today just posted another story about Halloween Horror Nights 2014, this time focusing on the recent announcement of “The Purge: Anarchy.”
“The Purge: Anarchy” enjoyed the biggest opening for any horror film this year, and the disturbing nature of the story — where average citizens are transformed into marauding executioners for a single night each year – is powerful and petrifying.
Like those trapped on the streets after dark in the film, Horror Nights guests will be at the mercy of scareactors on the prowl with brutal intent.
“The Purge Scare Zone will be taking up most of our New York back lot,” explains Michael Aiello, director of entertainment – creative development, for Universal Orlando Resort. “The familiar emergency broadcast message will be heard … and all hell will literally break loose.”
