HHN 2014 Update: 5 mazes are now in construction. The furthest along is the maze in JP queue. That maze will start props/dressing soon…

Makeup
Make up is wrapping up characters for From Dusk Till Dawn, Face Off & Walking Dead, working on all the movie related mazes now.
Maze Construction
Here’s some fun facts about maze construction, the maze in 747 stage has some huge walls..16′ tall! That’s twice the height of a normal maze. The original maze being built in the Mummy queue has a room you’ll never go into. It’s needed to house some special effect equipment. And speaking of special fx, the maze in JP queue has a ramping system for special effects needs. Also has some duplicated environments.
Scents
Finished “auditioning” maze scents the other day…some lovely and not so lovely scents for your olfactory pleasure (and pain). On the lovely side we have perfume (albeit the kind that exotic dancers wear), Buddhist temple (incense) and some delicious candy scents. On the not so lovely side we have burned body, dead body, and a blast from the past not used since Nightmare on Elm Street…vomit!
