Spider-Man’s homicidal symbiote and nemesis, Carnage, stands atop a pile of rubble in the “Island Under Siege” scarezone. In the area’s storyline, Marvel Comics’ greatest superheroes had been killed, allowing Carnage and other villains to pillage and plunder at will.

I also remember (from the Art of the Scare documentary) that they also had Crossbones (who is often seen in the comics for both Captain America and The Avengers)
