On this date in 1980, John Carpenter’s “The Fog” premiered in theaters. Set in the fictional town of Antonio Bay, California, “The Fog” recounts the story of ghostly mariners who return from the grave to exact vengeance and reclaim their rightful property.
Several elements of the HHN 21 house, “The Forsaken,” were quite clearly influenced by this “modern classic” horror film, including creature designs and the “church scene” (seen below)
