THE GATHERING OF LEGIONS

YOUR PICS ARE IMPORTANT AS IS THE LAST CLUE
TO SEE INTO THE FUTURE – THERE’S A COOKIE FOR YOU

THE LEGIONS OF HORROR WILL SOON BE OLD NEWS
BUT DON’T YOU DESPAIR, AND DON’T SING THE BLUES
BROTHERS…AND SISTERS GATHER TO LEARN MORE
DOWN FROM HIS OFFICE YOU’LL SEE WHAT’S IN STORE

The above clue, as well as the previous LT email, directed Legendary Truth players to gather near the Blues Brothers stage on New York’s Delancey Street at 9:00pm.

At the aforementioned hour, “Rosie the Fox Girl,” a popular scareactor from 2012’s “Dark Legions – Traditionals” group, appeared from the darkness and summoned the Morphan Legion.  She led them in a series of chants and cheers, then paraded them up and down the street.  At the same time, odd flashing lights and ghastly shadow hands were observed in the windows of the nearby Faulkner Apartments.  This location is particularly notable for its close proximity to the former office of Boris Shuster, a private detective who played a significant role in 2008’s Legendary Truth game.

As the Morphans marched, a clandestine meeting occurred behind the windows of Gertner’s Bakery: Legendary Truth’s Communications Director, Ms. Sadira Kurush was witnessed speaking with noted informant “Goth Wackee.”

Once their meeting concluded, the assembled Legions were directed to the Blues Brothers stage, where Legendary Truth’s CEO, Dr. Calvin Thorncastle, gave a short address:

[box style=”quote”]

“Good evening, everyone.

I want to take this opportunity to tell you how proud we are, of all of you, as we come to the final phases of the Legions of Horror.  You were tested for Legion Loyalty, Research Capability, Cooperation among the Legions, and last but not least, for your sacrifice to strengthen The Collective.

Most of you have received recognition for this.  If you have not received recognition, please be patient as we sort through the many accomplishments of individuals.  Some of you, we know, have questions that you feel are still unanswered.

And to those who feel this way, I would urge you to explore the third level of The Mansion . . . tonight.

I know many of you want to know what the future holds.  The answer to that will emerge as the evening draws on.

All of you deserve a cookie, however.  At this time, I have to take Ms. Kurush and the young lady you know as “Goth Wackee” back with me, to Princeton.

You should all make your way to the Kwong Fong Chinese Laundry to enjoy your cookie, as you were promised . . . and all it has to offer.

We will not be taking questions.  Good . . . night.”

Following his speech and a brief photo-op, Thorncastle, Goth Wackee, Ms. Kurush and their security detail left the premises.

Meanwhile, at the Chinese Laundry across the street, the mysteries deepened as Kwong Fong, clad in traditional garb and coolie hat, opened his box and distributed cryptic fortune cookies to the crowd.  Legion cards were scanned, granting the user the coveted “Fortune Cookie” badge (and 1000 Lifeforce points).

When translated, the fortune cookie message reads:

[box style=”quote”]”KWONG FONG NEIGHBOR SAY: BEWARE THE HORROR WITHIN”[/box]

The evening was concluded when TJ Mannarino, Director of Art & Design, took the stage.  Mr. Mannarino expressed his thanks for all Legendary Truth players, and mentioned that a new level of The Mansion (found at www.hhn23experience.com) was now unlocked.  Mr. Mannarino also mentioned that the Legendary Truth game would continue through the year, possibly including additional events outside the realm of Halloween Horror Nights itself.  Following these exciting comments, Mr. Mannarino thanked his team for their efforts and then be brought the evening (and year) to a close.

It should be noted that all Legions were represented last night, save Kerezan.  Their absence was specifically noted by TJ Mannarino, and will probably play a part in future Legendary Truth investigations.  The Legion representatives can be seen below (see their lanyards).  From left to right: Rosie (Morphan), LT Security (Cerebin), Dr. Thorncastle (Maschorian), Ms. Kurush (Strengoit) & Kwong Fong (Baccanoid).
