Universal Orlando recently announced the final house for Halloween Horror Nights 23.  Titled “Resident Evil – Escape from Raccoon City,” the house covers content from both the Resident Evil 2 and 3 videogame titles.  While this will be the first time Resident Evil has appeared in a US park, it will not be the franchise’s first time at a Halloween Horror Nights event.

In 2012, Universal Studios Japan’s “Halloween Horror Night” event relied heavily on the Resident Evil (or, as it’s known in Japan, “Biohazard”) license.  These photos show just how much work went into transforming USJ into the terrifying world of Raccoon City.  Hopefully, we’ll see an equal level of excellence in HHN 23’s “Resident Evil – Escape from Raccoon City.”

The newly-emerged “3d building projection” technology employed in Florida’s 2011 “Acid Assault” scarezone played a huge role in transforming New York Street into the videogame’s fictional Raccoon City setting.
